How can I find an affordable, kids friendly hotel in Paris with a view of the Eiffel?

I'm traveling with my 2 and a half years old child for 4 days start July 14th and I'm looking for a smokfree and nice hotel in Paris.


If anyone have any info please let me know.

No affordable hotels have views of the Eiffel Tower, sorry to say that. I've been in Paris many times now. If you're looking for a good hotel in Paris you can go to Scoobit.com http://www.scoobit.com and to this page dedicated to Paris hotels in particular http://www.scoobit.com/hotel-paris.php I stayed at the first hotel on the right. It was a clean, well located and nicely staffed hotel. Ideally located near Notre-Dame, the forum and the Pompidou center. Very good tube connections. Safe site. You can book on line and there are no booking fees. Have a great time in Paris with your kids.

Hotel Opera Cadet. It's nice, clean, free continental breakfast, on an adorable paris street and its about 100ft from a metro stop.
There are many hotels with views of the tower. The trick will be getting a room facing the tower. Try in the area of the 7th arrondissement and the Ecole Militaire. Other places will be across the river in the 16th. Some of these hotels will not pop up on the ';big'; travel sites but are still reasonable and clean. One that pops into my head is the Hotel Bourdonnais or the Hotel de Champs de Mars.
