Depending on where you go you can get room rates for around $65 and above. I highly recommend the Petoskey area. There is plenty to do there if you are so inclined - skiing, ice fishing, shopping, casino, etc.How much does a clean, but inexpensive motel/hotel cost in northern Michigan?
If this summer is like last, you might be able to get a bargain. Usually, summer months are peak season and command higher prices. I suggest starting your search now, you may find a bargain.
An alternative, several State Parks have mini-cabins with bunk beds for less. Just a thought.
