Is it illegal to spend with any girl in the same room in a Hotel?

I am 49 years old. The girl is 35 years age and not my wife. If we spent night in the same room in Hotel or any where else, then as per Indian law is it illegal ?





If illegal then as per which Indian Penal Code and what is the consequences?





I am not mentioning in what context we will stay. I am not saying we are going to perform sexual acts. I am not mentioning the purpose and context of spending night together.





I want to know the LAW of India or other countries regarding this situation.

Since you are not having sex and also do not want to tell the reason for your stay,I think there may be some important issue which made you stay together in the same room.


For example the girl(in fact lady) may be your relative or friend and is seriously ill and need someone to stay with her.If this is the reason,then I think it is not illegal and morally and ethically correct.





As far as India is concerned,Indian laws provide right to privacy to its citizen.So I think you can stay together unless and until your stay violates Indian law or religious sentimental etc.

Pre -marital Sex is not at all illegal in India. So, even if you are not doing sex with that ';girl'; [kindly explain me how can a female remain a ';girl'; in the age of 35] or for matter of fact -- Even if you are going to spend many nights with many girls in hotel -- where they are not staying with you for money [taking and giving of money will subject you to anti-prostitution law which is Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act]--- It is completely fine with the LAW as long as that ';girl'; or all those ';girls'; are mentally sound and acting under their own free consent.
There is no law (whether in India or any where else in this World - I am not sure about Islamic Countries and their laws) which says it is illegal.





It is absolutely legal; but in order to be in safer side it is better to stay alone.
Illegal in Saudi Arabia. Used to be illegal in the U.S. but not for recent decades now. I wouldn't be surprised if it's illegal in India, a country in which Richard Gere was charged with a crime for kissing his wife in public.
