You can get a taxi outside of door 7 or at the arrival area. Getting a taxi at a arrival area is suppose to be illegal (it's only for dropping off passengers) but it's often done and you save the 50 baht airport fee. Your be asked about 50 times inside the airport if you want a taxi. These people do not use a meter and will over charge you for the trip. Do not take them. As other have said take a meter taxi and only use the meter no exceptions. Go to Taxi booth in front of arrival hall. All regalized/authorized taxies are equipted with meters, pay what appeared on the meter plus 50 baths airport fee. That's it.
